About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and analytical equipment.
- Work on instrumentation calibration, pneumatic control valves, and process control loops.
- Read and interpret electrical codes, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, and blueprints.
- Use common tools of the I/E crafts and electrical/electronic test equipment.
- Document all repair activities and work orders within SAP CMMS.
- Apply industrial safety requirements and promote precision maintenance principles.
- Mentor and coach entry-level employees or trainees within the I/E organization.
Requirements
- High school Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Sound knowledge of E&I and Process Controls.
- Experience with temperature, pressure, and flow instrumentation.
- Ability to program and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Proficiency with computers, standard software, and SAP.
- Ability to use basic E&I test equipment and tools such as Driver Explorer, RsLinx, and AMS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Delta V and RS3.
- Experience installing, rebuilding, and pressure testing control and stop valves.
