About the role
Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process control systems including DCS, transmitters, variable speed drives, and control loops
- Calibrate gauges, controllers, transmitters, and other instruments in accordance with ISO and site standards
- Perform Lock, Tag, and Try (LTT) procedures to ensure equipment is safe for maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot motor control centers and motors
- Utilize technical documentation, including prints, manuals, and specifications, for troubleshooting and repair
- Follow all site safety, health, and environmental requirements, including proper PPE usage and vessel entry procedures
- Collaborate with operations, mechanical technicians, engineers, and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Prepare and maintain maintenance, calibration, and compliance records for audits and regulatory needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of applicable industrial maintenance experience in Electrical or Instrumentation, OR minimum of two (2) years of experience plus an Associate Degree, equivalent technical/military training, or NCCER certification
- Ability to work rotating or flexible shifts
- Physical ability to climb, use PPE, and work in high-hazard environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chemical or high-hazard manufacturing environments
- Experience with DCS systems, advanced instrumentation, and process control calibration
