Instrument & Electrical Asset Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a key technical advisor for Instrument and Electrical engineering support to maintain plant reliability.
• Partner with Asset and Maintenance teams to provide technical troubleshooting of instrument and electrical systems.
• Conduct incident investigations using RCA and other structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Manage compliance across instrument and electrical safeguarding systems.
• Lead small plant changes and represent Asset teams on larger capital projects.
• Optimize maintenance through the development of interventions and Turnaround scopes.

Requirements

• Tertiary degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in oil & gas, heavy industry, or manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of instrument and electrical asset maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience with RCA or similar structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Full working rights for Australia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional registration as an Electrical Engineer.
