About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance of instruments, controls, and process control network systems
  • Inspect, repair, and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and related equipment using electrical test equipment and schematics
  • Install or replace instrumentation devices such as flow, temperature, and pressure sensors
  • Install or replace control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and Servo Drives
  • Improve process control systems through Advanced Process Control and Alarm Management
  • Act as plant liaison for new system commissioning and contractor integration
  • Provide technical training to end users and lower-level personnel
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during all maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in Industrial Control System development and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience with Allen Bradley (Micrologix, Micro800, CompactLogix, ControlLogix) and Siemens Step 7 PLCs
  • Experience with HMI or SCADA programming and configuration
  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens VFDs and Servo Drives
  • Proven experience with EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, and ASi Industrial Networks
  • Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 compliant programming languages (ladder diagram, function block, etc.)
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technology
  • Experience with FTView ME and FTView SE
  • Experience with Eaton and Danfoss VFDs
  • Familiarity with SQL databases
  • Experience in dairy or high-speed beverage maintenance
  • Programming experience in Visual Basic
