Instructor Ram Success English

Responsibilities

• Teach English and Reading courses for the Ram Success Programs, including ENG 0300, RDG 0301, and specialized courses for non-native speakers.
• Deliver instruction via face-to-face classes.
• Prepare lessons and provide instruction for coursework while adhering to established classroom and exam schedules.
• Meet regularly with the Ram Success Programs Coordinator to ensure timely and adequate delivery of course content.
• Maintain regular office hours and provide contact information to both local and distance education students.
• Submit syllabi, grades, evaluations, book requests, and other required academic paperwork by established deadlines.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree with at least 18 graduate-level English credit hours.
• Experience in college-level teaching.
• Expertise in using active learning techniques and best practices.
• Experience in the assessment of learning outcomes.
• Proficiency with integrated administrative systems and current software programs.
• Ability to comply with FERPA regulations and handle confidential student records.

Preferred Qualifications

• TEFL/TESOL certification.
