Instructor Prelicensure Clinical

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor nursing students during experiential clinical coursework in both remote and onsite environments
• Provide specialized instruction and oversight to ensure student success within clinical placement settings
• Act as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical comportment and effective problem-solving
• Facilitate student learning through innovative teaching practices and technology-based platforms
• Evaluate student performance through both in-person and remote methods
• Collaborate with assigned coaches, preceptors, and university professionals to monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate records of clinical time and submit electronic student evaluations

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing (Education must be verified)
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience
• Unencumbered RN license
• Active, unencumbered license in the designated state

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in a specific content area
• Prior experience in clinical teaching or nursing education
• Strong experience with distance education and supporting distance learning students
