Instructor Prelicensure Clinical

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert teaching and mentoring nursing students during experiential clinical coursework in an onsite environment.
• Act as a professional role model for students in communication, ethical comportment, and problem-solving.
• Foster student learning through innovative teaching practices and specialized instruction in clinical settings.
• Provide final review and approval for student clinical time and submit electronic evaluation forms.
• Communicate proactively with students, coaches, and preceptors regarding student progress and concerns.
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant state regulations and university policies.

Requirements

• MSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of relevant professional nursing experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for company summits and business-related events.
• Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively in a clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in a specific nursing content area.
• Prior experience in clinical teaching or nursing education.
• Experience with distance education and supporting distance learning students.
