Instructor of Voice

Responsibilities

• Provide studio voice instruction to students of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced singers
• Specialize in teaching musical theater and popular music stylings
• Conduct thirteen weekly one-hour lessons per student per semester
• Organize and oversee one student studio recital at the conclusion of each semester
• Develop course syllabi and manage student grading within appropriate timeframes
• Consult with students regarding course content and vocal development

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required
• Demonstrated specialization in musical theater
• Strong pedagogical skills and ability to teach diverse skill levels
• Proficiency in piano skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field
• Ability to teach various popular music stylings
