Instructor of Sport Management

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of courses in Sport Management, such as Sport Finance and Economics, Sport Marketing, Sport Leadership & Governance, and Sport Facility & Event Management
• Maintain a teaching load of twelve credit hours per semester
• Provide academic advising and support to students
• Engage in curriculum development and research activities
• Participate in grant writing to support University programs
• Attend departmental, college, and university meetings and functions
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
• Participate in community service and professional organizations

Requirements

• Master's degree in Sport Management or a closely related discipline from an accredited university
• Proven experience in undergraduate teaching
• Demonstrated ability to deliver technology-enhanced curriculum

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience within the sport management industry
• Experience with research and grant-writing
• Familiarity with COSMA accreditation standards
