Instructor of Psychology

Responsibilities

• Teach twelve credit hours of coursework each semester, including subjects such as General Psychology, Social Psychology, Research Psychology, and Descriptive Statistics
• Provide academic advising to students
• Engage in research, publishing, and grant writing to support university programs
• Participate in curriculum development and university committees
• Maintain accurate records of class attendance and student performance
• Attend required university functions, including department meetings, faculty meetings, and commencement exercises
• Support program assessment for major degree programs and Liberal Studies

Requirements

• Earned Master's degree in Psychology or a similar discipline from an accredited university
• Proven experience in undergraduate teaching
• Demonstrated experience in instructing Psychology courses

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in the psychology industry
• Experience with research and grant writing
• Experience with technology-enhanced curriculum delivery
