About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and teach one section of REAL 4120 – Cases in Commercial Real Estate (3 credits).
  • Develop a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that reflects course objectives and student expectations.
  • Conduct engaging class sessions that effectively deliver content regarding the applied analysis of real estate for purchase, development, or financing.
  • Utilize Harvard Business School and Milwaukee Area cases to bridge conceptual knowledge with practical application.
  • Administer meaningful assignments and grade student work with an emphasis on professional development.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferred, or substantial progress toward a terminal degree.
  • Ability to teach applied analysis across major real estate investment sub-areas, including apartments, office, retail, and warehouse/distribution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous teaching experience in a relevant area at the university level.
  • Professional training experience in finance or commercial real estate.
