Responsibilities
- Prepare and teach one section of FINA 3020, Fundamentals of Financial Planning (3 credits).
- Develop a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that reflects course objectives and student expectations.
- Conduct engaging class sessions that effectively deliver content regarding personal financial planning frameworks, asset management, and professional ethics.
- Administer meaningful assignments and grade student work with an emphasis on student development.
- Cover key topics including major asset purchases, liability management, insurance needs, investment portfolios, tax strategies, retirement plans, and estate planning.
Requirements
- Master's Degree preferred or substantial progress toward a terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience in a relevant area at the university level.
- Professional training experience in financial planning or related fields.
