Instructor of Practice - FINA 3020

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach one section of FINA 3020, Fundamentals of Financial Planning (3 credits).
• Develop a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that reflects course objectives and student expectations.
• Conduct engaging class sessions that effectively deliver content regarding personal financial planning frameworks, asset management, and professional ethics.
• Administer meaningful assignments and grade student work with an emphasis on student development.
• Cover key topics including major asset purchases, liability management, insurance needs, investment portfolios, tax strategies, retirement plans, and estate planning.

Requirements

• Master's Degree preferred or substantial progress toward a terminal degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching experience in a relevant area at the university level.
• Professional training experience in financial planning or related fields.
