About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach applied horn lessons to students of all majors
- Instruct the horn portion of brass methods for music education students
- Lead a weekly horn studio seminar
- Foster a positive learning environment while maintaining high levels of musical excellence
- Provide mentorship to students from diverse backgrounds
Requirements
- MM degree or higher in a relevant field
- Proven experience teaching collegiate-level horn students
- Ability to teach applied horn lessons and brass methods
- Demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching
