Instructor of Digital Advertising

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in digital advertising and strategic communication, including Analytics, Insights & Strategy, Social Media Campaigns, Creating ADPR Content with AI, and Influencers & Social Economy.
• Instruct foundational courses such as Principles of Advertising and Foundational ADPR Research Methods.
• Utilize latest industry technologies and trends, including social, digital, influencer campaign research, strategy, planning, management, analytics, and AI.
• Engage in university-level teaching and pursue research opportunities.
• Incorporate themes of social change and social justice into communication instruction.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field (must be completed by August 24, 2026).
• Professional experience in digital advertising and strategic communication.
• Experience working with digital media and data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience with current advertising technologies and top agencies.
• Established industry contacts within the Chicago area.
• Previous university-level teaching experience.
• Familiarity with social justice–oriented communication work.
