Instructor - Medical Lab Science

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver course material to provide entry-level laboratory competency to graduate students
• Teach both didactic and laboratory sessions in Microbiology, Urinalysis and Body Fluids, Hematology, and other assigned disciplines
• Lead student laboratory activity set-up for assigned course labs
• Contribute to continuous programmatic improvement through curriculum feedback
• Provide in-person instruction at the Maywood Health Sciences campus

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher
• Current ASCP MLS CM certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience and practice in medical laboratory science
• At least one year of medical laboratory science education experience within the last five years
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong oral, written, and electronic communication skills
• Experience educating students in both laboratory and classroom settings
• Proficiency with learning management systems
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse faculty, staff, and students

• Competitive salary range of $55,000 – $60,000 for the two-semester appointment
