Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately six undergraduate courses per year (three per semester) to both majors and non-majors.
• Develop new course content related to your specific area of expertise.
• Deliver instruction in both in-person and online formats.
• Contribute to departmental needs, including supporting field and laboratory work.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography and Coastal Sciences, Geography, Geology, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching undergraduate-level courses.
• Experience working in laboratory settings.
• Experience working outdoors, preferably in coastal wetlands.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with students, faculty, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Two or more years of teaching experience.
