Instructor in Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses within the Quinlan School of Business
• Participate in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for accounting programs
• Build and maintain relationships with the Chicago business community to support internship and mentoring projects
• Provide mentorship to students under the guidance of experienced faculty

Requirements

• Doctorate in Business Administration or a Master of Science in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Professional work experience in the accounting field
• University-level teaching experience
• Demonstrated commitment to the university's Jesuit mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of professional leadership or recognition in the field
• Participation in or leadership within industry associations
• Experience presenting research or significant professional achievements in accounting

Benefits
