About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses within the Quinlan School of Business
- Participate in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for accounting programs
- Build and maintain relationships with the Chicago business community to support internship and mentoring projects
- Provide mentorship to students under the guidance of experienced faculty
Requirements
- Doctorate in Business Administration or a Master of Science in Accounting
- CPA certification
- Professional work experience in the accounting field
- University-level teaching experience
- Demonstrated commitment to the university's Jesuit mission
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of professional leadership or recognition in the field
- Participation in or leadership within industry associations
- Experience presenting research or significant professional achievements in accounting
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $75,000 – $95,000
