Instructor in Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses under the mentorship of experienced faculty
• Participate in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for accounting programs
• Build and maintain relationships with the Chicago business community to support internship and mentoring projects
• Contribute to the strategic plan of delivering a transformative education in the Jesuit tradition

Requirements

• Doctorate in Business Administration or a Master of Science in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Professional accounting work experience
• University teaching experience in an accounting setting
• Demonstrated commitment to the Jesuit mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of professional leadership and recognition, such as participation in industry associations
• Experience with research presentations or significant professional achievements in the field of accounting

Benefits
