About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Curriculum and Instruction
- Prepare course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments
- Provide regular office hours and mentorship to students
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and assessment activities
- Contribute to program development and continuous improvement efforts within the Division of Education and Counseling
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated ability or potential for effective teaching at the university level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Education
- Previous teaching experience in higher education
- Experience with online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced instruction
- Evidence of student-centered teaching practices
- Professional experience relevant to the discipline
