About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses within the Department of Accounting
- Provide instruction in specialized areas such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, or Intermediate Accounting
- Confer with students to support their academic progress and learning
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
- PhD, DBA, or an equivalent terminal degree in Accounting (required for teaching graduate-level courses)
- Valid U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level
- Relevant professional licenses or certifications such as CPA, CMA, CISA, or CIA
- Significant professional accounting experience in industry or public accounting
