Instructor- Adjunct, Field Supervisor- Elementary, Middle, and Special Education

Responsibilities

• Supervise, observe, and evaluate the teaching performance of teacher candidates at partner school sites
• Provide oral and written feedback to candidates regarding their performance and assignments
• Communicate program expectations and progress to teacher candidates, mentor teachers, and UC faculty
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during field experiences
• Attend required meetings several times per semester and report requirements to students and site mentors

Requirements

• Master's degree in an appropriate discipline
• Prior teaching experience
• PK-12 teaching or supervisory license in an appropriate field
• Availability during the typical PK-12 school day
• Reliable transportation to visit partner school sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with adult learners
• Proficiency with learning management systems such as Canvas
• Ability to utilize Teams and Zoom for meetings
• Strong ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
