About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the build process for new online courses and learning experiences to ensure they meet design specifications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to align learning outcomes, content, and assessments within the LMS.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on courses, including testing hyperlinks, videos, and third-party integrations.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to the delivery of online content and assessments.
  • Ensure all learning products adhere to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and ADA compliance standards.
  • Maintain project timelines and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in online university course design, curriculum development, or learner experience design.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, or Moodle.
  • Strong knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and ADA compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development or rapid prototyping.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HTML coding skills, with additional experience in CSS, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience with competency-based learning models.
  • Quality assurance training or certifications (e.g., CBEN, OSCQR).
  • Post-secondary teaching or learning experience.
