Instructional Systems Designer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs and instructional materials
• Conduct training needs assessments, job task analyses, and learning requirement studies
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
• Develop instructor-led, blended, and technology-enabled learning solutions
• Create learning objectives, lesson plans, participant guides, and assessments
• Analyze training outcomes and recommend improvements based on evaluation data
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure mission alignment
• Utilize educational technologies and learning management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with coursework in at least four areas of learning theory, instructional design, educational evaluation, product development, or computer technology in education
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional systems design methodologies and educational evaluation
• Experience conducting training studies, analyses, and instructional development projects
• Experience developing training materials, learning objectives, and assessments
• Proficiency with instructional technologies, LMS, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (T1) Background Investigation
• Eligibility to work on a U.S. Government contract
• Compliance with Air Force immunization requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, or federal government training programs
• Knowledge of the ADDIE instructional design model
• Experience with eLearning authoring tools and learning management systems
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
