Instructional Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the teaching of Statistical Sciences courses
• Respond to enquiries and disseminate program or service information
• Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and editing of course materials, including lecture notes and exams
• Book rooms and arrange appropriate accommodations for academic needs
• Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up items
• Perform proofreading and fact-checking of academic content
• Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate space and resource requirements

Requirements

• Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or an equivalent combination of experience
• Minimum of two years of recent experience providing undergraduate administrative support in a university setting
• Proficiency in proofreading and formatting academic materials such as problem sets and tests
• Demonstrated experience working with databases, surveys, and report generation
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and experience with ROSI
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working directly with undergraduate students
