Instructional Services Librarian

Responsibilities

• Manage the library’s instructional services programs and information literacy initiatives
• Provide student learning-centered instruction and research assistance in both classroom and individual settings
• Coordinate the library’s librarian liaison programs
• Provide specialized research and instructional assistance for graduate students
• Manage the library’s subject research guides
• Evaluate current and emerging trends and technologies related to instructional services and research assistance
• Execute the library’s long-term instructional services strategy to support the university's mission

Requirements

• ALA-accredited MLIS or equivalent degree (or currently enrolled in an MLIS program)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong service orientation
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing research and information literacy instruction within an academic library context
