About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, administration, and oversight for the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
- Manage program organization, continuous evaluation, planning, and overall effectiveness.
- Oversee curriculum development and delivery to ensure academic excellence.
- Ensure compliance with ACOTE accreditation standards and manage candidacy status.
- Supervise faculty and provide student advising and support.
- Manage program budgets and establish/maintain clinical fieldwork partnerships.
- Participate in college governance, institutional meetings, and committee service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
- Current NBCOT certification (OTR or COTA).
- Minimum of three (3) years of occupational therapy practice experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ACOTE Standards and accreditation processes.

- Previous experience as a faculty member in an OTA or OT program.
