About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, administration, and oversight for the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
  • Manage program organization, continuous evaluation, planning, and overall effectiveness.
  • Oversee curriculum development and delivery to ensure academic excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with ACOTE accreditation standards and manage candidacy status.
  • Supervise faculty and provide student advising and support.
  • Manage program budgets and establish/maintain clinical fieldwork partnerships.
  • Participate in college governance, institutional meetings, and committee service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
  • Current NBCOT certification (OTR or COTA).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of occupational therapy practice experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ACOTE Standards and accreditation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a faculty member in an OTA or OT program.
