Instructional Faculty - Nursing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and evaluate nursing classroom instruction and curriculum development
• Teach courses in specialized areas including Maternal Health, Community Health, Pediatrics, and Medical/Surgical nursing
• Provide clinical instruction and supervision to students
• Evaluate student performance based on course syllabi and provide timely grading and progress reports
• Provide academic advising and maintain regular office hours for student support
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and university-wide events
• Support the University mission, vision, and values through teaching and service
• Assist in the assessment of departmental learning outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate degree or terminal degree in a relevant nursing subject
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals
• Demonstrated commitment to collegiality and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral or terminal degree in a relevant field
