Requirements
Master's degree in Accounting preferred, MBA or similar with 18 credit hours in Accounting required, Bachelor's in Accounting with significant industry experience may be considered, Collegiate-level teaching experience preferred, Expertise in taxation and cost accounting preferred, CPA or CMA desirable

About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-ground and online classroom instruction using a learner-centered approach and active learning strategies
- Develop curriculum, course materials, and syllabi that meet student and curricular needs
- Provide academic advising and external support to students
- Assess student learning and participate in program review and assessment
- Maintain strong relationships with industry partners
- Participate in college-wide initiatives, institutional meetings, and faculty committees
- Assist in program accreditation and the articulation of courses with other institutions
Requirements
- MBA or similar degree with at least 18 credit hours in Accounting (Required)
- Ability to teach at various times and locations (Springfield, Beavercreek, Xenia, and Bellefontaine) as needed
- Strong interpersonal and technology skills
- Ability to work effectively in team environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting
- Previous collegiate-level teaching experience
- Expertise in taxation and cost accounting
- Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting combined with significant industry experience
