About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the course design and development process for new and existing courses to ensure alignment with learning outcomes.
- Design engaging, objective-driven learning experiences that support diverse learner needs and real-world application.
- Apply evidence-based instructional strategies, including UX/UI and accessibility best practices, to create high-quality educational content.
- Collaborate with faculty, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and instructional consistency.
- Evaluate and revise curricular materials, learning resources, and assessments to maintain academic quality.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, tracking progress and meeting established timelines and budget parameters.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
- 3 years of professional experience designing and developing instructional materials in higher education, corporate training, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for online learning environments or competency-based education models.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital authoring tools.
- Experience working in agile or iterative development processes.
- Knowledge of UX principles in learning environments.
