Instructional Designer

Responsibilities

• Advise, review, and provide feedback to professional and postgraduate professors on competency-based instructional design within the UDEM Pedagogical and Educational Models.
• Design meaningful learning experiences for various modalities using innovative methodologies, strategies, and educational technology tools.
• Support instructional design for emerging educational trends such as Edulab, Generative AI, and Storytelling.
• Implement the Next Generation Faculty model through continuous professional development and training programs.
• Facilitate faculty workshops on competency-based design, storytelling, and the 4C's methodology.
• Design and publish course content, tutorials, and dynamic resources on the institutional LMS.
• Coordinate faculty learning communities, including profile identification, theme definition, and session management.
• Manage administrative tasks for instructional design courses, including enrollment in Banner, use of Argos tools, and tracking evaluations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in instructional design.
• Professional-level teaching experience.
• Experience in information administration and academic counseling.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and professional communication).
• Strong skills in learning evaluation and instructional design.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.
