About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analyses to identify performance gaps, learner characteristics, and business goals.
  • Translate technical requirements into clear learning objectives and structured curricula using ADDIE or SAM frameworks.
  • Develop technical training for HVAC equipment and controls, including eLearning, simulations, lab manuals, and video tutorials.
  • Build multimedia content using tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with product launches.
  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance data analysis.
  • Manage course enrollment and issue resolution within the Learning Management System (Totara).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design for adult learners, including end-to-end development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks.
  • Proficiency with multimedia and authoring software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Engineering.
  • Proven experience developing technical training specifically for HVAC systems or the commercial HVAC sector.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/IACET Standards for Continuing Education and Training.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
