New Story Schools serves students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives.
Responsibilities
- Coach teachers using observation, modeling, dialogue, and co-teaching practices
- Support alignment of instruction with standards, curriculum, and assessments
- Promote inclusive, engaging, student-centered learning environments
- Provide professional development to increase educator effectiveness
- Collaborate with school leaders to analyze data and support improvement planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification
- Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring
- Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment
- Ability to build trust through non-evaluative, collaborative relationships
