About the role

Responsibilities

  • Grade weekly assignments, quizzes, papers, mid-terms, and final exams using provided rubrics
  • Provide instructional support for the Health Assessment Lab, including proctoring and administering examinations
  • Assist students with Canvas, course set-up, and accessing course materials
  • Respond to student inquiries regarding administrative issues and coursework
  • Conduct research in course development related to grading tools, assessment methods, and rubrics
  • Lead laboratory and recitation sections and provide clinical demonstrations
  • Assist in teaching courses under faculty supervision and facilitate student group meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced academic environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Background in nursing or current nursing experience strongly desired
