Institutional Trader

Responsibilities

• Drive and expand the Japan OTC trading business, including commercial development and relationship management
• Oversee the full lifecycle of OTC trading activities, including counterparty onboarding and trade execution
• Manage and structure commercial arrangements between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Manage relationships with institutional investors, ETF issuers, exchanges, and digital asset counterparties in Japan
• Provide business support including marketing initiatives, event management, and client meetings
• Identify business growth opportunities across the ETF and Digital Assets landscape in Japan

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial markets (sales trading, mid office, or ETF-related roles)
• Mandatory bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese
• Solid understanding of ETF market structure, liquidity, and trading mechanisms
• Experience operating within Japanese financial markets and local business customs
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal
• Strong ability to develop and maintain long-term institutional relationships
