About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales activities for Sub-advisory and Wrap prospects to achieve team sales targets
  • Engage with consultants to strengthen professional relationships and market presence
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client satisfaction through quarterly review meetings and timely responses to inquiries
  • Provide new product proposals and information to existing Sub-advisory/Wrap clients
  • Collaborate with members of the Japan Institutional Business Division to achieve organizational goals
  • Support the creation of client-specific RFPs for the Japan business
  • Maintain accurate contact records and meeting notes within the Salesforce CRM system

Requirements

  • Proven experience in institutional sales within the Japan market
  • Professional experience working with Asset Managers, Trust Banks, or Life Insurers
  • Proficiency in English for working in a global environment
  • Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external networks
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working specifically within the institutional teams of Japanese financial institutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and work effectively under pressure
