About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and perform quality assurance on institutional reports using data visualization techniques to track key performance indicators.
- Maintain internal student information datasets and dashboard reports to support institutional planning and accountability.
- Design and implement survey research methodologies, including tool development, implementation, and analysis.
- Support academic program accreditation and institutional assessment through data collection and interpretation.
- Analyze external data sources (e.g., IRCC, BC Labour Market Outlook) to inform internal stakeholder decision-making.
- Assist with new academic program proposals by presenting data on labor market demand, competition, and demographic trends.
- Maintain student career outcome and satisfaction databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Psychology).
- 3+ years of experience in institutional research, business analytics, enrollment management, or a similar data-driven role.
- Proficiency with Tableau and Tableau Prep for data visualization and preparation.
- Strong statistical skills with proficiency in R for Statistics.
- Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Power BI.
- Experience with enterprise data management and quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of survey research design and platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Survey Monkey).
- Canadian residency or a valid work permit is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague or similar enterprise systems.
- Experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or STATA.
- Experience using time-management software like Asana.
