Institutional Relations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify and screen regulatory matters within the Federal Legislative and Executive branches to signal potential business impacts
• Continuously monitor the regulatory environment and manage databases to ensure information quality and reliability
• Produce strategic reports, analyses, and research to support institutional articulation
• Analyze the legislative process and its developments to evaluate regulatory scenarios
• Apply data analysis and emerging technologies, including Generative AI and prompt engineering, to improve processes and generate insights
• Propose innovations and solutions to modernize regulatory monitoring platforms and workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Administration, Economics, Journalism, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of the federal legislative process and the movement of propositions in the Chamber and Senate
• Previous experience in institutional/government relations, legislative monitoring, or parliamentary advisory
• Proven ability in data analysis and information organization
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and prompt engineering
• Analytical, strategic, and proactive mindset with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Public Policy, Government Relations, Data Science, or Regulation
• Applied knowledge of data science and automation tools such as Python or Power BI
• Practical experience using Generative AI for analyzing and summarizing large volumes of text
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment specific to the media and technology sectors
