Installer I

Responsibilities

• Install various non-electrical vehicle interior and exterior components and hardware
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and written instructions
• Use pneumatic and power tools, including drills and screw guns, to complete tasks
• Set work priorities to meet production goals and meet QA/QC standards
• Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA, EPA, and 5S standards
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste according to company contingency plans
• Assist in training installers at various skill levels

Requirements

• One year of experience in a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate instructions in English
• Proficiency in using basic mathematics and linear measuring devices
• Experience with the fundamental use of pneumatic and power tools
• General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including heat, noise, and dust
• Ability to stand for long shifts and work from various positions (squatting, kneeling, or bending)
