Installer I

Responsibilities

• Install various non-electrical vehicle interior and exterior components and hardware
• Read and follow engineering drawings, layouts, and verbal/written instructions in English
• Set work priorities to meet scheduled production goals with minimal supervision
• Maintain high quality, safety, and 5S standards for all tasks
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste according to company and regulatory protocols
• Assist in training other installers and maintain cooperative working relationships

Requirements

• One year of experience in a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and use measuring devices
• Proficiency with pneumatic and power tools, including drills and screw guns
• Basic mathematics skills
• General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in high-heat environments (up to 105 degrees) and noisy/dusty conditions
• Ability to stand for long periods and work from various positions (squatting, kneeling, bending)
