Installer I

Responsibilities

• Install various non-electrical vehicle interior and exterior components and hardware
• Follow verbal and written directions in English to meet production goals
• Maintain high quality and control standards (QA/QC) for all assigned tasks
• Set work priorities to ensure production schedules are met with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all safety, 5S, and company conduct standards
• Handle hazardous waste appropriately and follow spill response and evacuation procedures
• Assist in training installers at various skill levels

Requirements

• One year of experience in a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and instructions
• Proficiency with pneumatic and power tools, including drills and screw guns
• Basic mathematics skills and ability to use linear measuring devices
• General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in challenging environments, including high heat, noise, and dust
• Ability to stand for long periods and work from various positions (squatting, kneeling, or bending)
