About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform the installation of solar panel systems, including attachments, racking, and modules
- Diagram layouts for photovoltaic arrays, accounting for building features and site orientation
- Identify optimal installation locations based on solar access and structural integrity
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities and provide regular job status updates
- Perform work at heights and on roofs, including climbing ladders with proper equipment
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians on installation best practices
- Ensure all installations comply with safety and quality standards
