Installation Tech III

Responsibilities

• Install and service Access Control and IP Camera systems according to engineered drawings
• Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms
• Identify and resolve issues impacting job productivity
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and company vehicle
• Communicate activity to Project Managers or Field Supervisors
• Travel up to 40% outside of the Houston/Austin area

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of field installation experience in a security environment
• Experience installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks
• Experience in Audio Visual Technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Lenel, Software House, or Genetec certification
• Certifications in American Dynamics, Bosch, or other IP Camera products
