Installation Supervisor-Fire Alarm

Responsibilities

• Coordinate people and materials for the successful execution of fire alarm installation projects
• Plan, schedule, supervise, and control field installations to ensure prompt and complete completion
• Perform installation, servicing, and programming of equipment per design and specifications
• Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and obtain approval from local AHJ
• Manage field resources and partner with the sales organization during the pre-bid process
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers and technicians
• Ensure strict compliance with corporate safety programs and Zero Harm policies
• Maintain effective customer communications and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction
• Manage daily operations of fleet vehicles and provide 24/7 technical support as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent industry field experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a fire alarm installation environment
• NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems
• Proven supervisory or leadership abilities, including team building and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of field experience
• 5 years of experience in fire alarm audio programming
• 1 year of management experience
• Knowledge of other low voltage systems
• Simplex 4100(ES) and Simplex network certifications
