Installation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual site surveys and assessments of wiring, electrical, and networking infrastructure
• Install and configure POS hardware including workstations, printers, pin pads, and routers
• Perform advanced network diagnostics such as traceroutes and port checks
• Deliver onsite training and live support for restaurant staff and management
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and technical escalation issues
• Maintain detailed records of site surveys, diagrams, and installation outcomes

Requirements

• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required
• Demonstrated success in 50+ POS installations or comparable technical deployments
• Deep understanding of networking infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, and Wi-Fi optimization
• Ability to travel 50-75% including local and out-of-state overnight stays
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, Computer Networking, Systems Administration, or related field
• Experience with multi-terminal deployments in QSR or franchise environments
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and ticketing systems
