Installation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual site surveys to validate wiring, electrical, and networking infrastructure
• Perform advanced network diagnostics including traceroutes and port checks
• Install and configure POS hardware such as workstations, printers, and routers
• Complete cabling, patching, and connectivity setup
• Deliver onsite training and live support for restaurant staff and management
• Maintain detailed records of site surveys, diagrams, and installation outcomes
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and serve as a technical escalation point

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required
• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience
• Demonstrated success in 50+ POS installations or comparable technical deployments
• Deep understanding of networking infrastructure, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi optimization
• Ability to travel 50-75% including local and out-of-state overnight stays
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, Computer Networking, or Systems Administration
• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments
• Experience with multi-terminal deployments in QSR or franchise environments
