Installation & Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Install and repair broadband, security, access control, wireless, key systems, and voice services
• Use fiber and copper infrastructure to set up and maintain systems
• Troubleshoot service issues, wiring problems, and network disruptions
• Provide product training to customers on installed services
• Complete service documentation including work orders, reports, and billing
• Maintain a clean and stocked service vehicle
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service
• Operate company vehicles, including bucket trucks, following safety protocols

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of combined experience/education in communications, telephone, or data systems
• Network+ certification
• BICSI Technician (TECH) certification
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work at various heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of fiber and copper networks
• Experience with electronic practices and in-home wiring
• Proficiency in troubleshooting service issues independently
