Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, and antennas
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues, including root cause identification and NCR dispositions
• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, and advanced technologies
• Communicate effectively through listening, verbal, and written channels in a dynamic work setting
• Multitask and prioritize work statements while maintaining detail orientation

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 3+ years of experience in wire installation design or working with electrical equipment
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with 3D Modeling/CAD software (CATIA V5 and ENOVIA)
• 5+ years of experience with wire bundle or electrical design
• Experience in an engineering environment
• Familiarity with 737 aircraft and systems
• Experience with FAA certification requirements for electrical design
• Experience using WIRS
