Installation Engineer - Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead switchgear installations, off-loading, installing busbars, and bus wiring
• Test switchgear panels and systems
• Integrate, assemble, and modify switchgear assemblies
• Supervise and coordinate site teams to ensure works are completed safely and on time
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance of engineers and labourers
• Act as the main point of contact on site for clients, contractors, and other trades
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks
• Ensure all work complies with project drawings, specifications, and H&S regulations
• Complete site documentation, including reports and test records

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven track record in electrical engineering
• Strong engineering and testing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Ability to work away from home (approximately 80% of the year)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to communicate with clients at all levels
• Willingness to work overtime and travel at short notice
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety regulations on site
