Installation & Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and mechanical completion activities during the commissioning or production assistance phase
• Program functional tests to ensure all machine components operate correctly and meet performance requirements
• Identify and resolve defects or malfunctions during startup and report non-conformities for product improvement
• Manage customer relationships during the commissioning phase until final commissioning is complete
• Conduct production tests and final testing of machinery
• Draft detailed reports regarding tests, results, and modifications made
• Analyze plant performance after startup to identify areas for improvement
• Provide on-site training to operators regarding the use and routine maintenance of machines

Requirements

• Mechanical or electrical technical training
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex or unexpected situations
• Proficiency in English
• High availability for travel (approximately 160 days per year)
• Experience in a similar role and a customer-oriented mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a team and organize activities to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic engineering principles
• Previous experience in the bakery or food processing industry
