Inspector/Quality Inspector/Inspection Executive

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions provided by Managers or Operations Executives
• Review job files prior to inspection to ensure readiness
• Perform inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards
• Prepare necessary tools, instruments, and documentation for inspections
• Provide guidance to trainee or junior inspectors
• Supervise inspection teams when required
• Coordinate with Port Operations, agents, and terminals regarding vessel arrival and berthing
• Organize draft field reports for Operations Executives
• Maintain inspection equipment and apparatus
• Report discrepancies to superiors and implement preventive measures
• Adhere to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies

Requirements

• Minimum education of SPM
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Candidates with over 5 years of experience may be considered for senior roles
• Candidates without SPM must pass the Inspector Quality Assessment
